Rug up and head to the sheds because it’s that time of year again! The Winter Night Market is back next month at the iconic Queen Vic Market, every Wednesday night throughout winter, where you’ll find a wondrous lineup of winter comfort foods and much, much more.
The Winter Night Market kicks off on Wednesday 5th June, with returning favourites and some newcomers too. Listen to live music, wander around the stalls, enjoying a glass of mulled wine, maybe a beer or even a speciality hot chocolate and huddle up with some delicious food.
As always, ReWine is serving steaming cups of spiced mulled wine, while Burn City Smokers will be dishing up smoky American-style BBQ dishes. New traders to the market this year include Mörk Chocolate with, of course, hot chocolate; Melted Cheese Bar for cheesy tartines and toasties; Ciao Chips with Belgian frites; Pierogi Pierogi with Polish dumplings, goulash and potato pancakes; and others.
The Book Nook is also making a comeback, carrying new and pre-loved titles from local booksellers, while Rumble Books & Records will be selling second-hand CDs, DVDs, vinyl and cassettes. There’ll also be a Christmas in July interactive space, complete with Christmas trees, snow machines, eggnog and carollers.
The Winter Night Market is open from 5pm-10pm every Wednesday from June 5 to August 28 at the Queen Victoria Market.
