How do I set up a virtual appraisal?
We’re lucky in this day and age where we have numerous communication technology available to us. To start off with and to ensure a smooth process, you will need a device with a working camera. If you’re using a tablet or laptop, you’ll also need an internet connection. Next, you’ll need to choose your preferred application, whether it’s FaceTime, Zoom, Skype or Whatsapp. Make sure the application is downloaded onto your device and ensure your account is set up and ready to use. What’s involved in a virtual appraisal?
This is the easy part! It’s as simple as an everyday video call. Your Lucas agent will connect with you via your preferred application at the scheduled date and time. We’ll run through details of your property to get a clearer understanding and with you walking through your property, we’ll be able to see the property through your eyes!
When can I expect to receive my appraisal report?
Once the appointment is completed, we’ll be in touch within 24hours! Your agent will send across your appraisal report directly to your email and we’ll be in touch to discuss further options.
Can we still meet in person?
We understand a virtual appraisal is a safe and effective way to get the conversation started! With current stage 4 restrictions within Metro Melbourne, we’re more than happy to schedule a time for when restrictions are lifted. We’ll ensure we’re maintaining social distancing parameters along with good health and hygiene. Our agents will meet with you on a one-on-one basis, keeping a 1.5-metre distance and taking appropriate precautions throughout the appointment.
