Set to redefy Docklands as Melbourne’s newest educational hub, Monash University plans to bring its new Monash College fully online in the coming months. After a difficult year for Australia’s university sector and facing increasing challenges ahead, Monash University has double downed in its commitment to local and international education.

In a move that breaks away from the traditional financial and business use of Docklands’ many commercial spaces, the college will be based at the east end of Victoria Harbour. Monash College, owned and operated by Monash University, runs as the preferred pathway to Monash University for international students. They offer foundation programs and English language courses, diplomas, study abroad, professional experience programs, and more.

Located at 750 Collins Street, the new campus which will take over the space vacated by AMP Capital will boast over 42,000 square meters of floor space, with over 10 levels that will be nothing but state of the art. Monash is moving closer to completing a two-year refit.

As Melbourne’s universities continue to excel and become more desirable to local, interstate, and international students, Monash has made a bold move that has been welcomed within the Docklands community.

Following on from the recently opened Docklands Primary school located in NewQuay, and growing talks of a local secondary school, Docklands continues to redefine its image of one of Melbourne’s most sort after inner suburbs for families and young professionals.
